Sonny J.H. Wong, MD, FACC, RPhS
Dr. Sonny J. H. Wong is the founder Windward Vein, Heart and Medispa. He has extensive clinical experience and has practiced heart care exclusively since 1986. Dr. Wong is originally from New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago Dunedin Medical School; this is one of the leading medical schools in the world.
Dr. Wong completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at the University of Hawaii and the University of Nevada. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. Additionally, he successfully completed the Examination of Special Competence in Adult Echocardiography in 2003.
Dr. Wong is on the volunteer clinical faculty at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine as a clinical professor. He is involved in medical student teaching both first-year clinical skills, and the fourth year Cardiology elective rotation.
Dr. Wong is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, practicing since 1986, and in based in Hawaii since 1994. Throughout this time, he has built extensive relationships with the cardiac medical community in Honolulu and the U.S. mainland. He can draw on a wide range of other experts, should their assistance be needed.
He advises his medical students to take a competent medical history and examine the patient looking for pertinent clues to support their hypothesis of want they think going on with patients. To think logically and to use their common sense.
In his free time, as an avid golf player, Dr. Wong gets out at least twice a week for a round of golf with his golfing friends.
Noelle Pace: Esthetician
At just 9 years of age Noelle struggled with problematic skin, and found solace in having facials done. Her struggles with this condition had fueled her with a passion to help others to not only feel better about themselves and ultimately help them achieve their skincare goals through esthetics. Noelle has an abundance of knowledge in her field, but doesn’t just stop there. She continues to learn new techniques and works hard to educates herself continually to find the best skin care products, always staying up to date on the latest and greatest technology. It is clear that she loves what she does, and through that love she is able to pass that love, onto her clients. Noelle is a GEM! and it is a pleasure to her onboard our staff.
She is a graduate of Makana Wellness and Esthetics Academy in Honolulu and she’ll take very great care of you!
Hollie Gaspar: Office Manager
Hollie originally started with us as our Medical biller but her organization and drive to create a smooth running practice morphed her position into what it is today.
