Sclerotherapy is the gold-standard treatment for spider veins on the legs. A sclerosing solution is injected directly into the affected vein using a fine needle, causing the vein wall to collapse and seal shut. The body then naturally reroutes blood through healthier veins, and the treated vein gradually fades over 3–6 weeks. Most patients see significant improvement after one to three sessions. The procedure takes 30–45 minutes with no downtime — you can return to normal activities the same day.

Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy targets vascular lesions and redness on the face and body without needles. The light energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood vessel, causing it to coagulate and be reabsorbed by the body over the following weeks. IPL is particularly effective for facial spider veins, rosacea-related redness, and small vascular lesions that are difficult to treat with sclerotherapy.
