Amanda

Amanda Galdi, NP

Amanda Galdi served in the United States Army for ten years after graduating high school. Her level-headed thinking and steadfastness during combat for two tours in Iraq earned her numerous service medals and awards. She thrived in the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of an aviation battalion and sought a similar setting for her civilian profession. The operating room was a natural next step.

She moved to Tennessee to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University. She began her medical career as a surgical technologist in the largest medical system in Nashville but has since gained experience in all aspects of healthcare including federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), home health, private clinics, and aesthetics offices.

Amanda is an expert at a variety of procedures and loves hearing how much better her patient feels after a treatment. As a child, she came to respect and admire the nurses that cared for her ill sibling in a hospital – now, she appreciates the impact she has on her patient’s health and wellbeing. After living all over the world, Amanda considers Hawaii – and its aloha spirit – home.
